COVID-19: BC Patil appeals state govt to seal down Hirekerur

Bengaluru: Agriculture Minister BC Patil has requested the government to impose a complete seal down of Hirekerur Taluk in Haveri district as the Covid-19 cases are increasing day by day.

In a video, Patil said that the virus is spreading in India rapidly and it looks like the virus has reached the stage of community transfer.

“There is a need for seal down in Hirekerur as many cases reported with an increasing number in other parts of the taluk,” He said.

Last weak, Former Chief ministers, Siddaramaiah and HD Kumaraswamy asked the government to impose a complete lockdown in the state for the next few days to control the spread of COVID-19.
