COVID-19: India’s first lady stitches mask for needy

New Delhi: Amid nationwide lockdown owing to stop the spread of coronavirus, many health workers, police, and essential service workers are working 24/7 with the government in the health crisis.
Lakhs of people have volunteered in this fight by contributing to PM CARES fund, preparing PPEs, medical kits, and face masks and distributing to needy people and government. India’s first lady Savita Kovind too has joined this fight as well as she stitched face masks in the President’s estate on Wednesday, April 22.
Kovind stitched mask at Shakti Haat that are being distributed among various shelter homes of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board.
