COVID-19: Institutional quarantine mandatory for those who test positive in Udupi

Udupi: The District Commissioner G Jagadeesh on Tuesday said that institutional quarantine at COVID Care center is mandatory for those who test positive for COVID-19
“Strict action will be taken against those who oppose to transfer themselves to COVID Care center after testing positive for COVID,” said the DC.
“This measure will into effect from August 5, only pregnant women and other special cases will be exempted from institutional quarantine,” he said.
The State has been seeing a rise in the COVID-19 cases.
