COVID-19: Kanika Kapoor tests positive for fourth time

Mumbai: Bollywood Singer Kanika Kapoor has been tested positive for coronavirus for the fourth time.

As per sources, one of her family members said that she is not responding well to the treatment and the family is worried.

“It seems like Kanika is not responding to the treatment and due to the lockdown, we can not airlift her for advanced treatment,” one of her family members said.

However, the doctors at SGPGIMS said that the condition of the singer was stable.

Kanika Kapoor is currently undergoing treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) and earlier the singer was booked on charges on negligence for attending different social events.

She is booked under sections 188, 269 and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Sarojini Nagar Police station in the city.

The FIR was lodged based on a complaint filed by the chief medical officer (CMO) of Lucknow.
