Toronto: According to a research report published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, scientists have confirmed that rain, sunny and cold season does not affect the novel coronavirus.
The research was based on latitude, temperature, humidity, school closure, social distance, etc. in 144 geographical regions around the world. Experts also considered the cases discovered between March 20 and March 27.
Peter Zuni at the University of Toronto stated that they had thought cold and rain would increase the spread of COVID-19. But the results are astonishing. Even when re-examined, the same results came out.
He added that the only effective way to control COVID-19 is social distancing, closure of schools and lowering the traffic of people.
