COVID crisis: Entrepreneur looking for oxygen concentrators online duped

Mangaluru: A medical equipment entrepreneur who was looking for oxygen concentrators online was duped of Rs 11.86 lakh.

The entrepreneur after receiving advertisements regarding supply of oxygen concentrators decided to purchase it after registering on the India Mart website.

Reportedly, on May 13, Om Sai Enterprises from Dombavalli promised to provide the oxygen concentrators and the entrepreneur in various instances transferred cash from May 13 to 17.

The businessman had transferred a total of Rs 11.86 lakh to the accused, but they failed to supply the equipment.

A complaint in this regard has been filed at the cyber crime police station.
