Mangaluru: The arrival of tourist to Mangaluru on luxury ships is increasing by the day.  An attractive tourist ship called on NMPT with 650 tourists and 400 crew onboard from Marshall in Ireland on Tuesday.

The tourists visited various tourist attractions in the district within a day. Last year, a total of 22 ships and 24,258 tourists had visited Mangaluru. This year, more than 18 tourist ships have visited Mangaluru by the first week on May.

In 2016, the union government simplified the process of giving visa to international tourists by providing E-Visa facility at ports and since then, the number of ships visiting Mangaluru has increased, inform sources from NMPT.
