Hassan: Not long after the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) maintained state government’s transfer order, Rohini Sindhuri who was filling in as the Deputy Commissioner of Hassan was transferred to Bengaluru to the post of Commissioner of Employment and Training. D Randeep, who was with no post for 37 days, has expected to take charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Hassan District on April 17.

It might be reviewed that on the night of March 7, IAS officer D Randeep had gotten his transfer order from the state government which expressed that he was transferred to Hassan as Deputy Commissioner. In the meantime, Rohini Sindhuri who was the Deputy Commissioner of Hassan was transferred to Bengaluru as Commissioner of Department of Employment and Training. As Rohini had secured a stay order on the transfer order, Randeep couldn’t expect his duties and was remaining in Mysuru with no posting for over a month.

CAT bench, which was hearing the dispute between Rohini and the state government, maintained the state government’s transfer order.

Addressing the media, D Randeep stated, “On Tuesday, there was hearing in CAT, where I was present. According to choice of the CAT, I straight away went to Hassan from Bengaluru to assume responsibility as the Deputy Commissioner. My first aim will be to conduct free and fair elections. I will investigate different issues identified with the district later.”
