Mangaluru: The outbreak of dengue fever has reduced and the number of patients getting admitted into the hospital with this concern has come down. Those who have already been admitted are receiving treatment and 30-35 inmates are getting released daily on being cured, informed Health Department Officials.
Rs 40,000 collected in penalty
The operation against spots with stagnant water which is conducive for the propagation of mosquitoes is being continued and a total of Rs 40,000 was collected in fines on Tuesday in this connection. The operation was conducted in Bejai, Kapikad and Bunder areas.
