Davangere: CM Bommai re-launches ‘Jilladikarigala Nade Halli Kade‘ program; rides autorickshaw

Davangere: In a bid to take the administration to the doorsteps of rural people,Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai re-launched the programme ‘Jilladikarigala Nade Halli Kade’ (Deputy Commissioner marches towards villages) at Surahonne village in Nyamathi taluk of Davangere district on Saturday.
As per the programme, DC will have to stay overnight in villages and address problems of the district on spot.
CM Basavaraj Bommai was given a grand welcome in Davangere and he also rode an autorickshaw. Autorickshaws, three-wheelers were distributed to beneficiaries in the event.
Talking about the Covid-19 situation in the state, Bommai said, ” We will soon hold a meeting with the experts and discuss regarding the relaxations in Covid-19 protocols. The re-opening of primary schools will also be discussed.”
Revenue Minister R. Ashok and Rural Development & Panchayat Minister K S Eshwarappa were also present.
