Daylight robbery: Two men on a scooter snatch woman’s bag in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Two men on a scooter snatched a woman’s bag in New Thippasandra, Bengaluru on Monday when the woman was walking on the road at around 11.30 AM.

It is said that the victim Geeta works as a domestic worker in the nearby residential area.

Police said that two men wearing masks who were on a two-wheeler approached the woman and snatched her purse. She ran behind them calling out for help but no one was around.

“The purse contained just the mobile phone of the woman. CCTV footage will be scanned followed by further inquiry,” said a police official.

A complaint was filed at Jeevan Bima Nagar Police Station.
