The decision was taken at a meeting, held with Deputy Chief Minister Ashwath Narayan in Bengaluru to discuss the increasing coronavirus cases in the district.
District Deputy Commissioner, health authorities, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Harish Poonja and UT Khader participated in the meeting via video conferencing.
The Deputy chief minister said that 25,000 Rapid antigen test kits would be supplied to the district immediately. 15 ambulances also would be sanctioned on immediate basis.
