Deralkatte: Liquor shop thieves arrested

Ullal: Police have arrested one culprit involved in the burglary at a wine shop at Deralakatte’s Nityanandnagar. An accomplice of the culprit is still to be nabbed.

The arrested person has been identified as Fayan. He has revealed the fugitive’s identity as Farook.

Liquor bottles worth Rs 25,000 was looted by these two from an MSIL outlet at Nithyanandnagar.

They were selling these bottles to migrants labourers at Thokottu. Locals reported this to the Konaje police who arrived at the spot and arrested Fayan while Farook ran away.

Police are on a lookout to apprehend Farook.

It is also alleged that these two were also involved in an attempt to loot a cooperative entity at Natekal and in stealing a motorbike.
