Bengaluru: The discontent over Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s Cabinet is unlikely to be quelled soon as MLAs Anand Singh and MTB Nagraj have also reportedly joined earlier dissatisfied MLAs Ramesh Jarkiholi and CT Yogeshwar.
The MLAs upset over not being given a ministerial berth, left for New Delhi to meet the party’s central leadership.
It was reported that all of them have been trying to meet the leaders in Delhi but have not been able to meet anybody so far.
Jarkiholi had recently met former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who was also dropped from the Bommai Cabinet.
The BJP had not allowed Jarkiholi, to join the Cabinet in the wake of the CD case investigation against him. Thus, he had pressed for the inclusion of his brother Balachandra in the Cabinet. However, BJP leaders did not agree to it as well.
Meanwhile, Mysuru MLA SA Ramdas, who too is reported to be unhappy for not getting a ministerial berth, did not attend any programmes where Cheif Minister Bommai was present.
Even when Bommai visited Mysuru he did not accompany him.
Speaking on the issue, Bommai said he would hold discussions with Ramdas.
