DK, Udupi: COVID-19 stats as on Mar 31

Mangaluru, Udupi: One person from Sullia taluk tested positive for COVID-19 in the district on Tuesday, March 31.
The person had returned from Dubai on March 18 and was home quarantined. He started showing COVID-19 symptoms and was admitted to Sullia taluk hospital on March 28, later his samples were sent for testing.
About 38,320 people have been screened and about 5875 people have been put under home quarantine in the district as on March 31.
About 169 people have completed 28 days quarantine period.
17 sample have been sent for testing. Nine samples results arrived of which one, mentioned earlier, tested positive and 8 negative.
5 people have been admitted for observation.
From Udupi no new cases were reported on March 31.
About 2546 people have been tested till March 31.
About 156 and 41 people have completed 14 and 28 days, home quarantine, respectively.
5 were admitted for observation and 8 were discharged.
20 samples have been sent for testing. 14 samples tested negative.
