Kalaburagi: An FIR has been registered against 14 people that includes students and those who appeared in their names for the SSLC examination on Thursday, June 25.
The issue came to light when the education commissioner here, Nalin Atul, visited the examination centre for inspection and found 3 fake students in the Government Primary School examination centre at Jevargi Colony in Kalaburagi town and 4 fake students at Kotanur village’s St Mary High School examination centre.
It was discovered that instead of the students, other persons were appearing for the examination. The commissioner on detecting the fake students instructed officials to register an FIR against the fake students as well as the students who were supposed to appear for the examination.
