First Rashtrakoota Utsava celebrated in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi: For the first time ever the Kannada and Culture department of the state and the Kalaburagi district administration is organising a Rashtrakoota Utsava.

The programme commenced at Malakhedanalli, Sedam taluk on Sunday morning. District in charge minister Dr Sharanaprakash Patil initiated the fest.

A grand parade that started from the Malakheda post was the cynosure of eyes amid the festival.

Halage Vadana, Pata Kunita, Dollu, Garudi Gombe artistes filled the boulevards moving and engaging the group of onlookers that had assembled in the city. School and college students likewise took part in the celebration.
