Former Dharwad Rural Constituency MLA Shivananda Ambadagatti passed away on Thursday, February 9 morning.
He is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters.
Family sources informed that his funeral will be held today at his hometown.
He had recently joined the Congress party in the presence of KPCC Chief D K Shivakumar, Congress Opposition leader Siddaramaiah and other senior party leaders.
