Gadag: Car catches fires after ramming into tree; 3 occupants killed on the spot

Rona (Gadag): Three persons are feared dead in a car accident near the bus depot on the outskirts of Rona town on Saturday evening.

The car was on its way from Rona towards Gadag city when the man behind the wheel lost control and rammed into a roadside tree. The car caught fire instantly. The passerby pulled out the occupants of the burning car, but could not be rescued.

It is gathered that 3 young men were traveling in the car. Their identities were not known at the time of publication.

Rona police visited the spot and are investigating.
