
Gang kidnaps PU college student in broad daylight

Mangaluru: A PU student of a private college of Thokkottu in the city was kidnapped by a gang that arrived in a car at Varkady Kaliyoor under Manjeshwar police station limits of the district of Kasaragod in Kerala state on the morning of Monday, Jul 22.
The abducted student is identified as Harris (17), son of Hassan Kunhi, a resident of Kaliyoor Padavu. Harris was pursuing PUC at a private college located at Thokkottu in the city.
The incident
Harris was riding a two-wheeler along with his sister when he was waylaid by a gang that arrived in a car near the auditorium of Kaliyoor Padavu, assaulted him and forcefully took him with them as per the complaint filed in the police station.
Manjeshwar police are on the lookout for the accused.
