Gangoli Bunder jetty collapses; Major incident narrowly missed

Gangoli: A major tragedy at Gangoli bunder was narrowly missed after the jetty at the bunder collapsed in the early hours of the morning. However, since it was a holiday for fishing, an undesirable incident was missed as lives of the many fisherwomen and labourers were saved, as they did not report to work due to the leave.

The respective officials of the concerned department need to take action and protect the lives of the poor fishermen. If not, in the coming days, the entire 400 meters stretch of the jetty is bound to collapse leading to loss of life of numerous innocent people.
