Goa: 3 from Belagavi killed in horrific car crash

Panaji / Belagavi: A car crashed into a tree in Goa’s Mapusa, killing 3 of its occupants early morning on Sunday, May 22.

The deceased have been identified as Nayar Angolkar (28), Rohan Gadad (26), and Sunny Anvekar (31) from Belagavi in neighboring Karnataka.

Another, identified as Vishal Karekar (27), was critically injured and has been rushed to a hospital in Bambolim.

The car, a Maruti Swift, veered off the road and smashed into a tree by the roadside near Kucheli (Cunchelim) at around 4 am on Sunday.  Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
