Gokak PSI found dead at residence, heart attack suspected

Gokak: Police Sub Inspector of Gokak Rural Crime Branch was found dead on February 24.
The deceased PSI Fakirappa Talawara (55) was originally from Shiraguppi village in Bilagi taluk. He had been transferred to Gokak only about 20 days ago.
A heart attack is suspected to be the likely cause of his death. The body was discovered in the room he was staying in by police personnel who checked on him after he was unreachable. Several calls made to him went unanswered.
The incident took place under Gokak Nagar police station limits.
Belagavi District Superintendent of Police reached the spot and collected information.
