
Good rain in Puttur, Naravi

Mangaluru/Udupi: Rain was reported at various locations throughout Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday afternoon. If there was rai at some places in Mangaluru city, at other locations, the sky was cloudy since the morning.
Drizzling was reported from Kotekar, Biri and Kinnigoli since the morning itself. A few places in Mangaluru received rain including Yeyyadi, Derebail and Konchady. Areas around Subrahmanya received normal rain accompanied with thunder and lightning. There was drizzling at Sajipa.
Punjalakatte, Moodbidri, Venur received slight rain while Belthangady taluk received normal rain. Since the drain near the new bridge at the market below Naravi as blocked, the road here was inundated and caused inconvenience to motorists. The stones piled near the drain led to the flooding. It rained for more than half-an-hour at Edu and Kutlur areas.
Normal rain was experienced at Marodi, Hosamaru, Totattadi, Belthangady, Mundaje and Guripalla. Good rain was witnessed in Puttur for around an hour in the afternoon.
Drizzling was reported from Kaup, Padubidri.
