Gram panchayat poll candidate commits suicide in Garag village

Dharwad: In a tragic incident a gram panchayat poll candidate allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday, December 22 by hanging himself in his home in Garag village.
The deceased has been identified as Damodar Yeligar (36). He was contesting from Ward No 2 of Garag.
The reason why he took this extreme step is yet to ascertain.
A case has been registered at Garag police station.
