Green Building Council, M’luru smart city sign MOU for eco-friendly development

Mangaluru: Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL) and the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for sustainable development in the city.

The MoU, signed between IGBC Mangaluru chapter chairman D B Mehta and MSCL managing director Mohammed Nazeer at a ceremony in Pathrika Bhavan, covers joint assessment and evaluating developments in Mangaluru as per the criteria set in IGBC’s Green Cities Rating System.

Mehta said that both entities will collaborate in professionals capacity building, spreading awareness on sustainably built environment, development of green buildings and showcasing Mangaluru as a Model Green City.
