Harsha’s ashes will be taken to Srirangapatna in a Rathyatra: Rishikumara Swamiji

Chikkamagaluru / Shivamogga: The ashes of Harsha, the Hindu activist who was assasinated on Sunday, would be taken in a procession to Srirangapatna, said seer Rishikumara Swamiji of the Kali Matha in Sakharayanapura here on Tuesday.
Talking to newspersons here, the seer said that Harsha’s family has decided to take the ashes in a Rathyatra to Srirangapatna from Shivamogga. His ashes will be dispersed into the Papanashini river, the seer added.
The yatra will proceed via Shivamogga, Tarikere, Kadur, Arasikere, Channarayapatna. The ashes will be publically visible for all, he said.
Arsons in Shivamogga despite curfew
Meanwhile, in Shivamogga, the situation in Shivamogga still remains tense. Despite curfew being in operation, on Tuesday morning, cases of arson were reported. Miscreants torched two auto-rickshaws in Tunga Nagar. Another two-wheeler was set ablaze in Koramara Keri.
