HDD to convince H Vishwanath to continue as JDS party president

Bengaluru: Former Prime Minister and JDS leader HD Deve Gowda on Thursday said that their party will try to convince H Vishwanath to continue as JDS party president.
Addressing presspersons he said that Vishwanath has agreed not to quit the party, but he does not wish to continue as the president,
” I have called a meeting of our party leaders tomorrow. We will try and convince him otherwise,” he said.
He further added that no discussions would be held on coalition government or cabinet expansion in tomorrow’s meeting.
