Heavy rains: Kodagu DC declares holiday to schools, colleges on Wed

Kodagu: Observing heavy rains in the district on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner Dr B C Satish has declared a holiday for schools, colleges, and Anganwadi’s on Wednesday.

The decision has been taken as a safety measure after observing very heavy rainfall from the past two days in the district, suggests reports.

It can be noted that the heavy downpour has uprooted trees and electric poles. In some areas, minor landslides were also reported.
