Chikkamagaluru: As the heavy rains continue to batter “Coffee Land of Karnataka”, several houses and roads have been damaged.
Heavy rains with gusty winds were experienced at Charmadi Ghat, Banakal, Devaramane, Kottigehara, and other places on Monday. As a result, several trees were uprooted, disrupting everyday life.
Although the weather department has flagged alerts of very heavy rainfall, the district administration has still not declared holidays for schools.
