Heavy rains: Holiday declared for schools in Udupi and DK for July 27

Mangaluru / Udupi: The Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district administrations have declared a holiday for schools on July 27 in view of the heavy rain prediction.
In Dakshina Kannada, the DC ordered the Anganwadis, primary schools, and high schools including private and aided institutions, to remain closed on Thursday, July 27.
Similarly, in Udupi, the DC also declared a holiday for all schools and PU colleges in the district for July 27. The holiday will not be applicable to undergraduate, postgraduate, ITI, diploma, and engineering colleges.
