Heavy rains: Schools, colleges of DK, Udupi to remain close on Wed

Udupi: Foreseeing heavy rains in both Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, the district administrations have announced holidays to schools, colleges, and Anganwadi’s on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, both districts witnessed very heavy rains. As a safety measure, Deputy Commissioners Kurma Rao M and Dr. Rajendra K V of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts respectively, have announced a holiday.

As there is a flood-like situation in some areas of both districts, the district administration has cautioned parents to take care of their children.
