Bengaluru: Amid the ongoing Hijav row, KPCC chief DK Shivakumar on Friday said that the High Court should decide soon and come up with a suitable solution.
Speaking to ANI, he said, “I don’t know why the court is taking such a long time. They should come up with whatever solution they have. As far as Congress is concerned, we’re worried about the education of children irrespective of their dress. Govt shouldn’t interfere in it.”
Talking about the Mekedatu issue, DKS said, ” Congress, BJP, and JDS have fought together for the rights of Karnataka and submitted a report to the central government that there should be balance in the reservoir at Mekedatu.”
“Today we are appealing to the central govt. to implement this after environment clearance. The land and water belong to Karnataka,” he told ANI.
