Hubli: Absconding accused arrested after one and a half years

Hubli: Keshavapur police officials have arrested Basavaraja Kuradagimatha, who had been absconding for the past one and a half years, in Mysore on Wednesday.
He was arrested by the Keshavapur police in 2019 on charges of cheating and had fled from the police station when he was admitted to KIMS.
Four policemen were suspended under the charge of negligence. Later, Basavaraja attended the court and was admitted to Jayadeva Hospital in Bangalore. After receiving treatment, he fled again.
Recently, police officials received information about his whereabouts in Mysore and arrested him
