‘Humanity important than money’ says Sudhakar after hospital asks money to hand over dead body

Bengaluru: Minister for Medical Education Dr Sudhakar on Monday, August 3 warned the hospital authorities of a private hospital in Bengaluru of strict action for refusing to hand over the dead body of a person to his family members.
Authorities of St John’s hospital of Madiwala to the family members of the deceased that the dead body won’t be returned unless they pay the money.
Following the incident, Sudhakar tweeted, “Humanity is more important than money. I came across a piece of news where St John’s hospital authorities refused to return the dead body back to the family unless they paid the money. I promise the family members of the deceased to take of the issue at the earliest.”
