Hunsur: One killed, 4 critical as Tempo Traveller collides head on with KSRTC bus

Hunsur: One person was killed and four others were injured in a collision between a Tempo Traveller and a KSRTC bus on the National Highway near Mallikanathapura here on June 27.
Nagaiah (46) resident of Bannikuppe village in Hunsur, who worked as a librarian, was killed in the road mishap.
Three others injured in the accident were identified as Mangalamma of Thattekere village, Kendaganamma of Dharmapura, Jayamma of Mantikoppalu, and Shekhar of Arasu Kallahalli. There were rushed to K R Hospital in Mysuru.
The accident occurred at around 9 PM when the Tempo traveller moving to Hunsur from Mysuru collided head-on with the oncoming KSRTC bus.
Traffic movement on the highway was affected as the damaged vehicles blocked lanes. Bilikere police arrived at the spot and arranged to remove the debris and eased traffic movement.
Meanwhile, the mortal remains of the deceased have been shifted to the Bilikere government hospital.
A case has been registered at Bilikere police station in this regard.
