IAF Jaguar pilot drops fuel tanks, practice bombs after bird hit; lands safely

Ambala: An Indian Air Force Jaguar pilot had a narrow escape after aircraft’s engine failed owing to a bird hit.
The pilot jettisoned two fuel tanks of his aircraft and some practice bombs after which he managed to land safely at the Ambala airbase in Haryana.
The practice bombs dropped by the pilot have been recovered, stated IAF sources.
