Somwarpete: Four persons were arrested and a vehicle was seized on the charges of illegally transporting cattle. The accused are Rahil, Irfan, Mohammed and Musadik, all residents of Mallipattana Holegodu in Arakalagudu taluk.
The accused were transporting 9 heads of cattle in a vehicle from Hammiyalu-Mutlu taluk when they were arrested at Surlabbi by a police team led by CI Nanjunde Gowda. A case has been registered against the accused at the local police station.
