Infosys Foundation Chairperson Sudha Murthy donates Rs 100 Cr for Covid-19 relief

Bengaluru: Infosys Foundation Chairperson Sudha Murthy has announced a Rs 100 crore donation to fight against Covid-19

It is said that the donation amount will be utilized for the purchase of oxygen, ventilator, and medicines for covid patients.

She further said that  Infosys Foundation will provide funds to Mangaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. The funds will be utilized to provide essential equipment such as ventilators, oxygen concentrators, sanitizers, PPE kits, and N-95 masks.

Rice and food kits will be supplied for auto drivers and laborers. Also, Covid-19 vaccine awareness programme will be held
