Bellary: A Jail Superintendent on Wednesday launched a complaint against a group of inmates at Gandhinagar police station after they conspired to escape from the jail.

Following the complaint, the security measures in the jail have been increased.

It may be recalled that four years ago a prisoner had escaped from the jail by climbing the wall with the help of a rope, however, following the incident, the jail authorities had installed an electric wire around the compound wall of the jail.
