Bengaluru: IPS officer Dr P Ravindranath on Tuesday tendered his resignation from the post of DGP police training division.
Sources claimed the officer is unhappy over his recent transfer and has quit the office.
Dr Ravindranath was on leave for the past few days citing family issues. The transfer orders were also received during his vacation.
It is learnt that the officer arrived for work on Tuesday, but left for Vidhana Soudha later in the day and put in his papers.
This is not the first time the IPS officer has tendered his resignation. He had made allegations against the then-Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and other senior police officers of making casteist remarks. This had created a high drama for a while.
