Jackie Shroff to act in Konkani ‘Kantaar’!

Mangaluru/Goa: ‘Kantaar’ which is the second movie produced by Janet Norhona who was also the producer of the Konkani movie ‘Sofia’ which recently won the state level award as the best regional language movie, has completed its shooting and has its Audio and Teaser released a week back.

The specialty of this movie is that this is the second time, Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff will be acting in a konkani movie. This movie is being shot in Goan Konakani and is also getting dubbed into Karavali Konkani.

Multi-language actress Esther Noronha is the lead actress in the movie while Tollywood rapper Noel Sean will be the lead actor. The cast of the movie also includes Velrose Pereria, Louis Bachan, Dominic, Dolla, Libi, Meena, Chitra Alphonso and Donald Colaco.

The movie has been shot in Goa and the movie set is in accordance with the nativity there. ‘Kantaar’ means a song. This is a musical love story, says actress Esther. The music is by Aditya Barve and the movie has four songs. The movie will be released in January!
