Jeep-scooter collision: Rider succumbs to severe head injury

Vittal: A rider named Dinesh, who was severely injured in the jeep-scooter collision on Monday has succumbed to the injuries.

Dinesh had overtaken a vehicle with his Honda Activa scooter, during which he had rammed into an oncoming jeep near the Ukkudu Checkpost of the Vittal-Kasargod highway.

He had suffered a severe head injury.

Although he was rushed to a hospital at Mangaluru, doctors declared him brought dead.
