Chamarajanagar: Biology lecturer of JSS College, Chandana (26) allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in the campus hostel, here on Tuesday.
It is learned that it was her birthday today (August 9). Her friends had wished her and had asked her to join them for breakfast. However, she refused saying that she was not in the mood.
Later, as Chandana took longer than usual to come out her friends decided to check on her and were shocked to find her hanging in the room.
Meanwhile, she left a death note in which she mentioned that nobody should be held responsible for her death.
However, the exact reason for her hasty decision is yet to be known.
A case has been registered in the Chamarajanagar Town Police Station.
