Necessity is the mother of all inventions, or so goes the adage. ‘Jugaad’ is one such way of low-cost home-grown Indian invention that has helped the common man fulfil his necessities.
Lately, a video of a ‘jugaad’ milk cart, born out of necessity, has caught the eyes of the chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra.
Twitter handle @RoadsOfMumbai shared the video of a motorized cart carrying cans of milk driven by a person on the roads. The post also highlighted the aspect that the ‘milk van’ was fashioned to look like fast cars seen on Formula races or some go-carts.
“When you want to become a F1 driver, but the family insists in helping the dairy business” the caption read.
This video which has gotten more than 8.5 lakh views on April 29, was shared byAnand Mahindra on his timeline. He also expressed his desire to meet the person behind the invention.
“I’m not sure his vehicle meets road regulations, but I hope his passion for wheels remains unregulated…This is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long while. I want to meet this road warrior…” Anand Mahindra wrote in a Twitter post.
