Justice Satish Chandra Sharma appointed acting CJ of Karnataka HC

Bengaluru: The senior-most judge in the Karnataka High Court, Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, has been appointed as the acting Chief Justice of the court.
The Ministry of Justice, in a notification on Friday, ordered the move as the present Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka and senior judge Justice BV Nagarathna were appointed as the judges in the Supreme Court.
A farewell was organised at the High Court for the outgoing judges on Friday.
