Kadaba: Person jumps off Shantimogaru bridge

Kadaba: A person jumped off the Shantimogaru bridge in Kudmaru village of the taluk into the Kumaradhara river on May 26.
There were reports that a person from Alankaru stopped his car on the Shantimogaru bridge and jumped into the river with a balloon tied to his body.
Hundreds of people gathered at the spot as the news spread.
Rescuers fished out a dead body from the river. The person has been identified as Chandrashekhar, who was the president of Alankaru Murtedarara Seva Sahakari Sangha. It is suspected to be a suicide.
