Kadri Sri Manjunatha temple festival from Jan 15 to 25

Mangaluru: The annual festival at Kadri’s Sri Manjunatha Temple will be held from January 15 to 25.

The president of the temple’s managing committee, AJ Shetty informed that the mahapooje and muhurthabali will be held on January 14 and the festival will commence from January 15 at 10 a.m.

Deepotsava will be celebrated on January 21 and the Sri Manmaharathotsava will be held on January 22, whereas the dhwajarohana ritual and the nema festival for Sri Malaraya and Parivara daevas will be held on January 23 and 25 respectively, he further added.

The temple sees an estimated 300 to 400 devotees offer Sathyanarayana pooja every day and the Shani pooja on Saturdays witnesses more than 3000 devotees.
