Kambala 2021-22 to resume from February 5

Manipal: The 2021-22 season of the Kambala will restart from February 5. The popular sport of the coastal region was briefly suspended due to COVID regulations.

Since the government has relaxed the rules on COVID, the District Kambala Committee has again decided to restart the Kambala races.

Revised dates for the remaining Kambala tournaments were announced after a meeting of the committee held on Monday, January 31.

Revised schedule of Kambala 2021-22:

  • 05-02-2022 Saturday: Baradi Beedu Kambala
  • 13-02-2022 Sunday: Adve Nandikur
  • 19-02-2022 Saturday: Vamanjoor Kambala
  • 26-02-2022 Saturday: Aikala Bawa Kambala
  • 05-03-2022 Saturday: Paivalike Kambala
  • 12-03-2022 Saturday: Katpadi Kambala
  • 19-03-2022 Sarurday: Puttur Kambala
  • 26-03-2022 Saturday: Bangrakulur, Mangaluru Kambula
  • 02-04-2022 Saturday: Uppinangady
  • 09-04-2022 Saturday: Bangadi
  • 16-04-2022 Saturday: Venur
