Kambala season: Committee to set dates soon

The installation Ceremony of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kasaragod District Kambala Committee Office Bearers is set to be held on September 18 at Srishti Garden.

An official statement released by the committee has announced that Aikalbava Deviprasad Shetty Belapu will preside over the program.

The primary agenda of this inaugural meeting is to finalize the dates for the upcoming Kambala season, a traditional buffalo race unique to this region. Additionally, discussions on the planning and organization of an anticipated Kambala event to be hosted in Bengaluru will also be held.
